Find a positive example of something going viral and a negative example of something going viral. PLEASE ADD THE URL. Plan to show it.

Watch at least 30 minutes of the 2014 State of the Union. After it is done, go to an alternate media. Watch or read the perspective presented.

Compare and Contrast: tell us what source you used (i.e., Salon.com) and how it matches to what you watched. Did it alter your perspective? 100 words or more.

As information evolves into a more digital age, what happens to the value of it?

Is information is valued by the way we read and the way we process it?

EXERCISE 1: Your Online Identity. Log off everything. Do your best to figure out who you are online. Use search tools like google, facebook, myspace, etc… to see how exposed you are online by the average user. Write a one page report on your identity online listed how much of your profile is exposed, what type of content you have online (blogs, articles, projects, artwork, etc…), and what you know about you. Treat this as a third person POV project. This is due in on Thursday.
