  1. This was my first experience designing a wiki. I am familiar with the wiki format, but as I am unfamiliar with the design aspect, I encountered some difficulty when adding information, photos, and other material to the site. I did not experience limitations working collectively because the site makes it possible to edit text and make comments or suggestions.

One advantage of wikis is the ability to work remotely. Group work can often be difficult due to time restraints and conflicting schedules, but wikis eliminate those problems.

Wikispaces' history feature is a great way to monitor individual effort and hold group members accontable for their portion of the project. A common criticism of group work is the possibility that workloads may not be equally distributed among group members, but wikispaces' history feature tracks accountability.

  2. 1.) Wowzers, where do I begin( I am not smiling right now). I thought the Wiki was uberly awesome. Golly ole mighty it was. I encountered no issues. It was like writing your name on a piece of paper. Easy Squeezy. There were no issues. It was truly awesome.

2.) One advantage was the ability to edit you Wiki at all times. You could practically edit anywhere. You could do it in a car, it a stripper club, at a rave, at the zoo, in a cave, in shoe(that one was not doable). Wikis are awesome( I said that in a sarcastic tone...)

3.) I thought the Wiki history was a positive. You could always see who have edited on your page. It was great, just like that one time when I found 20 dollars at Wal- Mart. Something that would improve the Wikis would be DELETING THE WHOLE WEBSITE...I kid. No really, the whole group thing on Wikis is overrated. If you want to do it then do it on your own! Well that's all I have to say( Wow! a Justin Bieber Concert is on T.V...YAY) Tootly Doo! (Yeah, I'm being serious...)

  3. 1. I think the biggest struggle was trying to communicate during our busy spring break. I know things were pretty hectic for everyone, including me, so that seemed to be the major conflict.

    2. I have to say that selfishly, my favorite thing was getting to learn more about a person I'm deeply interested in. I love the way Albert Einstein thinks and feel the same about a lot of things, like solitude and religion.

Also, I discovered that making a wiki is not as easy as it looks. It takes a profound amount of time and is perfected with meticulous tweaking. It's very easy to get lost in the physical look of your wiki, which I did, and end up falling behind on your sustenance (info). I kind of end up falling in love with the process and my virtual foot print, though. I actually intend to continue fixing it.

    3. I thought it all work pretty well. Now if I could have kept myself from accidentally deleting my work here and there, that would have helped. I decided it's best for clumsy people like me to save often.

  4. 1.The challenge for our wiki was finding the best wiki site to use. We ended up using PBWorks it seemed to be more user friendly.
2.One of the advantages we had working on this wiki was a great topic. Our topic is dating we picked this topic because one of our intelligences was social, and dating is social.
3.The thing that worked well for this assignment was the large amount of information avaiable on our topic. There is a vast amount of information on dating found in every resource from new new media to old school sources like books.

  5. 1. The challenge for our wiki seemed to be who could edit the wiki the most...Josiah won that battle. :)
    2. The advantage to our wiki was definitely our topic like Deanna said. Dating is such a wide topic, which made researching and going off of each others ideas and personalities very fun.
    3. PBWORKS for our wiki was the most beneficial for our group. We felt like this wiki site was easier to use and more visually and user friendly.
